The Objective
Create a brand system that reflects the company's beliefs and personality, with beautiful sharp, minimal solutions with elegant simplicity.
The Solution
Considering the phrase "You can't build a great building on a weak foundation", I created a brand system based on a robust and unified grid to build on and manage the entire brand elements inspired by multiple construction foundations. And the colors, grid, and typography were inspired by the most fundamental basics of any construction: steel, bricks, and cement.
Builder Display Typeface
They were specially crafted for this project from scratch. "Builder Display" is a display font to be used in short-form and large-format applications. Inspired by the steel rebar and watching the construction workers use a " Mandrel " tool to bend the rebar, I tried to follow the same simple methods to create this typeface. The result was more significant than expected.
